HOW TO PLAY

Monarch Merge: the guide

Choose a monarch and build a pile that can survive the climb to the final form.

Choose your monarch

Nox, Ryuken, Mei, and Sol each have their own fourteen illustrated evolutions. Select one before starting. Every form on that board belongs to that monarch; a merge changes the level and artwork, not the character you selected.

How merging works

Aim with your pointer and click to drop, or tap a position on the phone playfield. Equal levels merge when they touch. The replacement form is larger and receives a small upward motion, so one merge can move neighboring pieces into another. Pieces of different levels push and roll against each other.

Build a stable pile

Keep an eye on the Next preview and make space beside levels you expect to combine. Avoid repeatedly dropping small pieces into a narrow gap where they cannot reach their match. When a large form arrives, let its neighbors move before adding another piece directly above it.

Points, danger, and God Form

A merge into level n awards 10 × 2ⁿ points. Level 13 is the maximum; equal max forms do not combine again. A pile that stays above the danger line fills a two-second danger meter and ends the round. Newly dropped forms have a short grace period. The 1% challenge is a name for the goal, not a player statistic.

Controls and saved records

Focus the board to aim with ← and →, drop with Space, and pause with P. Touch players can use the buttons below the board. Scores are saved separately for your chosen character in this browser. Switching devices does not carry the record across.
