HOW TO PLAY

Your Otaku Level: the guide

Turn your completed anime list and fandom experience into a rank for fun.

Count your completed series

The first question asks how many different anime series you have finished. Count each completed series once; do not add separate seasons or rewatches as extra series. Choose the range that best fits rather than changing your count to chase a higher result.

Answer seven experience questions

The rest of the round draws seven questions about your anime interests and experience. Answer based on what you actually watch and enjoy. They are self-reported choices, not a timed knowledge exam. You can revisit an answer before submitting the completed quiz.

How the score works

Your watch-count range contributes up to 75 points. The remaining answers contribute up to 25 points after being scaled to the points available in that round. The total, capped at 100, selects your fan rank. The result shows both the score and the watch-count range you chose.

What a rank means

A rank is a playful badge for your anime journey, not proof of expertise or a measure of how much you belong in the fandom. Godly Otaku is a high-scoring outcome, but watching more titles is not a requirement to enjoy anime. Explore new genres at your own pace.

Try a fresh round

Replay changes the experience questions and rotates the wording of the required watch-count question. Its subject stays the same because the score still needs your completed-series count. The highest score is saved in this browser and can be cleared through My bests.
